I don't believe I've ever done my favourites post before the month's end before. Actually, I was going to film my responses to the 11 Questions Tag, but every single thing that could possibly happen to interrupt my five separate filming occasions has happened -- picture fire alarms, battery packs dying, not one, but two full SD cards...I digress.
This month has been a very favourite-y month for me. Did that make sense? Probably not. What I mean is, that for me, favourites usually refer to products that have made more than one appearance within a given month. These favourites are different because I've used every single one of them at least five times a week (except the nail polish, but only because I don't reapply every day). That's insane for me. Not surprisingly, I'm not wearing any of them in the video. In fact, I'm not wearing a stitch of makeup in the video, because I was so excited about catching the last five minutes of evening light. You do what you gotta do.
As always, links and products mentioned will be on the Youtube page. Click through and enjoy!
Other things I've enjoyed this month...
1. Since you all loved my dad's top shelf last month...check out my brother's.
2. The Face. ANTM with infinitely better sponsors Anyone see the finale last night?
3. Lemon water.
4. This clip of Jennifer Lawrence talking about her mom.
5. The Wild Oats & Bourbon candle from NEST Fragrances.
Tell me about your March loves!
Ok, sorry for stalking and commenting here as well as your youtube, but I think I run out of room on youtube comments when I have a lot to say! LOL!! Anyway...I want to check out the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector!! Sounds amazing!! I think it's hard to find products that make your skin look real - but better. So many products make you look 'made up' no matter what you do. I LOVE KA Candlelight!!! I've tried Mary LouManizer and Candlelight is waaaaay better imo. Mary LouManizer was a touch frosty on me and it was def too shimmery for my liking. Even with a lighter application I just couldn't get it to work. Candlelight is just right, and I can build it up a bit if I like. For my skin tone it's the perfect shade and never looks overdone. Love your bro's top shelf!!! Thank you for letting us peek!
ReplyDeleteYou can stalk me any day =)
DeleteI do find Mary Loumanizer a little frosty...it`s just very evening. And sometimes during the day, I want to highlight but it looks so...made up! I want so many KA things, it's going to be an expensive couple of weeks LOL.
Thanks for saying that about his Top Shelf -- he was making such a fuss when he found out I posted it!
Oh I'd love to try Becca's products but sadly they're not available in Italy and I'm not a big fan of online shopping.
ReplyDeleteI felt sketchy about shopping online too, but StrawberryNet and BeautyBay have both been good for me!
DeleteI love Jennifer Lawrence! Could she possibly be any more down-to-earth and cute?
ReplyDeleteShe's so funny! And you're totally right, she seems like a real person!
DeleteGreat picks :-)
ReplyDeleteI have no question why you like that Becca shimmering perfector :)The shimmer is just gorgeous and I like it the first time I swatch it. I haven't bought it though but someday I will.
ReplyDeleteYou'll love it! I still can't get over how gorgeous it is every time I use it!
DeleteGreat choices! I seriously need to get my hands on Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector, it looks so pretty in all of the swatches I've seen. Quite curious about the hyaluronic acid serum you mentioned as well. I've been looking into the Skinceuticals one, but it's so expensive!
ReplyDeleteThe Skinceuticals one is so expensive! The one I'm using now is nice, but I'm going to check out Hydraluron next!
